SIFF 2013 Picks

I thought last quarter flew by fast, but this quarter has put the last to shame.

This weekend (already!) marks the beginning of SIFF, the Seattle International Film Festival. As always, there are some awesome movies on the schedule. As someone who works weeknights and most weekends, my viewing capabilities are regretfully limited, but rest assured I’ve taken the time to gush over the entire lineup.

Some of the ones that stand out in particular to me are:
A Band Called Death a biopic about the first African American punk band
The Punk Singer documentary about Kathleen Hannah
Anita documentary about Anita Hill and her controversial court case
100 Bloody Acres camoy, over-the-top horror
Fateful Findings Lynchian cult thriller

Are you making it to SIFF? What movies are you looking forward to?
